Michael

These are the doors from the church I showed you on Sunday, Our Lady Of Sorrows. The original oak doors were replaced with these bronze ones a couple of years ago at great expense apparently. The figures show St Michael the Archangel slaying Satan and there are words on the right hand door, "Quis Ut Deus" which is a translation of Michael. I've never seen doors like this before.

I can see why they would be expensive. Fantastic artwork.

at great expense is an understatement

That is a really impressive door. The wood must have been in poor condition to be replaced with these bronze doors.

Interesting set of doors. I am accustom to the ones made of solid wood.

Maybe Michael couldn't keep the church safe with old wooden doors?

Wow! What an entrance!

Regarding your comment, the Canada 150 bulbs will be available in the fall through Home Hardware for planting.

The doors are impressive, but I'm not sure they fit the style of the rest of the entry.
